Storm Lords Slots

Storm Lords Slots

My first impression of RealTime Gaming's slot Storm Lords was the graphics almost looked too impressive for a slot machine. I was nearly expecting an elaborate computer game featuring a tear-jerking plot, dramatic music, and maybe a romantic subplot, especially with the two main characters of the game - the storm lords themselves, looking like something straight out of the final fantasy franchise. They're two, astonishingly good-looking men. One with epic and unusual long white hair, and the other looked a little more modern with a brunette, anime-style haircut. They stand out among the other characters on the reels, maintaining an otherworldly quality.

Theme

The game itself is played in a stone temple, with two animated torches burning brightly on each side. The floor of the slot is coated with light snow while cherry blossom trees blow in the wild in the background. The sky is a darkened blue. The artwork touches on something special this time, but I wouldn't expect anything less from RealTime Gaming. This game is played on a 5x3 reel design and everything about this slot screams anime influence. Other symbols associated with this board apart from the storm lords include supporting characters and card symbols. The card symbols are the lowest paying symbols, with the A and K being the most valuable, paying x100 for five. The princess and the priest symbols pay out 200x while the warrior pays 500x. The storm lords pay out 800x for a maximum win. The pay lines on this game aren't fixed, so you can play for as little as 0.01 per spin. However, if all 50 pay lines are active, you'll be betting at 0.50 per spin minimum. This game is a medium to high volatility slot, and this game is mobile-phone friendly.

Special Features

There are special features on this board that add tons of action and excitement to what would usually be a standard spin-to-win slot. For one, the Storm Lord wilds will move to form stacked reels during base gameplay. There is also the Treasure Coin feature, which is activated when you land six or more gold coins. Your six coins will remain in position and trigger respins. If more coins land, those coins will stick to their position and the respin counter will reset to three spins again. If you continue to land coins, you'll continue to trigger respins, and through this, you'll be gathering tons of free spins period. Coins also come with their own value. The coin will feature either a set value, or a mini, minor, or major jackpot prize. When your respins end, your total prize as well as the jackpots will be awarded. If you're looking to land the game's grand jackpot, you'll have to aim for landing fifteen coins during the bonus.

If you land three or more emerald green scatters, you'll activate six free spins. Before your free spin round begins, you'll get to choose either to add two storm lord wilds on reels two and four or choose the Treasure Coin feature. After much debate, I chose the Treasure Coin feature. In my opinion, RealTime Gaming was smart enough to realize how beloved these martial arts games are when they include amazing special features like Storm Lords doe, and that just gives me another reason to love them!
